What I offer
I’m a private ski & snowboard instructor based in Niseko, Japan. I work with Far East Snowsports - a boutique ski school built on Omotenashi, the Japanese spirit of warm, thoughtful hospitality.
When you book with me, you don’t just get a lesson, you get an individually crafted experience.I’ll meet you at your accommodation with a private shuttle, help you with equipment rentals and gear suggestions, and make sure you’re set up for the day.On the mountain, every session is individually crafted - whether it’s building a strong foundation, exploring new terrain, or guiding you around the resort to discover Niseko’s best. In any case, I'll be there every step of the way!
About me
I grew up skiing in Europe, racing on junior ski team before discovering snowboarding in my late teens. My passion for the mountains took me across the world - from Finland and Austria to Australia and New Zealand. And 3 years ago, I got stuck in the infamous JAPOW paradise - Niseko, Japan. And I haven't found anything even remotely as good.I specialize in helping adults build solid baseline for technical skills so they feel confident and safe as they progress. With kids - I keep lessons light and playful, turning slopes into adventures and challenging them to beat me once all the candies are gone.Whether it’s your very first day on snow or you’re chasing powder and adrenaline, my goal is to help you ride better, feel freer, and enjoy every moment on the mountain (not only the part when you take your ski boots off)!
